TIPS FOR A TOP DAY AT LIVID 2003

Posted-10/8/2003 2:14:07 PM

The LIVID Festival has a long, happy and safe history that we’re very proud of. Here’s a few tips to help you make the most of your day at LIVID 2003.

Drink plenty of fluid

And we don't just mean the green can. If you don't drink water you'll become dehydrated and that will totally ruin your day! Free water is available throughout each site and bottled water is for sale. If you are drinking alcohol, drink a bottle of water for every couple of beers.

Bar Rules

You must be over 18 and have a +18 wrist strap to buy heavy bevies. Show your wrist strap when purchasing drink tickets and entering the Bar Servery. Of course you've gotta be over 18 to drink alcohol so bring photo ID!

Pace Yourself

It is a long day, take time out to recharge, remember to eat, wear a hat and apply sunscreen. SLIP, SLOP, SLAP!

Responsible Drinking Practices

People who are unduly intoxicated or who display unruly behaviour will be refused service at the bar.

Respect each other

Look out for your friends. Look out for others, especially in areas in front of the stages. Alert security if you, or any one you see, are in distress. Alert security if you see anyone causing distress to others.

Make a meeting point

If you are heading to Livid with a group of friends - make a meeting point at the beginning of the day - a place you can find each other if you become separated for any reason.

Stage diving and Crowd Surfing are not permitted at Livid

Crowd surfing, stage diving and moshing are dangerous practices. Everyone knows that. Stage Diving and Moshing are activities that create dangers for both yourself and others, and for these reasons they are not permitted at Livid. Please take note that offenders will be evicted from the festival site without right to re-entry or refund. You have been warned!

Cameras

You can bring in still cameras but you can't bring in any camera equipment considered by door staff to be professional. If in doubt leave it at home - you can buy a disposable camera at the show. Audio recording devices are a definite no no!

At the end of the day

Take care when leaving Livid.
Stay on the footpaths if walking.
Respect the neighbourhood that allows us to put Livid on.
Take care of yourself, Take care of each other
Have a great day!
